Momentum defines this season in Gwinnett. From Duluth to Washington, D.C., and across the Atlantic to Portugal, Germany, and Belgium, our mission to champion business is in motion creating connections, advancing opportunity, and reinforcing Gwinnett’s position on a global stage.
This quarter has delivered measurable progress. Partnership Gwinnett led a global business mission to Germany and Belgium, strengthening international relationships and advancing economic development priorities. The Chamber’s D.C. Fly-In followed, elevating the voice of the business community with federal decision-makers. Most recently, a delegation of Gwinnett Chamber leaders is in Portugal, strengthening relationships with one another to advance business opportunities back home.
That same momentum was evident in Gwinnett just a few weeks ago. The announcement of UCB represents the most significant economic development win in Gwinnett County — and the state of Georgia — to date. It underscores the strength of Gwinnett’s ecosystem, the value of long-term partnership, and the confidence global companies place in this community.
As we approach America’s 250th anniversary, we also reflect on Button Gwinnett — a founding father and the county’s namesake. This issue of The Executive highlights that legacy through the stories of business founders and leaders, including DeVonte Johnson and Dejuanquaries Stephens of Eastside Dental, Amina Bakari-Green of ABG Legal, and Greg Cantrell of Living Stone Properties.
We invite you to engage — read, connect, and join us on social media as we bring history to life through a series of trivia and storytelling moments. In that spirit, this issue comes to you signed, sealed, Gwinnett.
