The Gwinnett Chamber is proud to announce Cally D’Angelo, Senior Director, Membership Services & Small Business Initiatives, has been recognized as a 40 Under 40.

A true Chamber champion, this not just a job for Cally, this has been her career.

She has been in the nonprofit organization management industry for nearly 15 years, serving organizations across the state of Georgia. She has worked her way up from an intern to her current role on the leadership team at the Gwinnett Chamber, which is a 2,200-member organization with a revenue of $6 million in metro Atlanta.

During her time at the Statesboro Chamber, her internship turned into a permanent position. Next, she worked at the Port Wentworth Chamber, where she increased membership 70%. Following, she worked at the Savannah Area Chamber, where she spearheaded the state’s largest political event, in addition to other programs that brought together thousands.

Next, she joined the Gwinnett Chamber, where she was responsible for executing some of the organization’s signature events, such as the State of the County, which is the largest in the region. She has increased event revenue 180%, which led to two promotions.

In 2019, she was promoted to the leadership team as senior director of membership services & small business initiatives. During tumultuous times, she has poured into our small business community. With 90% of our members being SMBs, this has been key in retention and new member recruitment.

Civically engaged, she currently serves on the boards of the World Trade Center Atlanta, ACE Women’s Business Center, Gwinnett Community Outreach and ACCE Events Division Council. After receiving her IOM from the US Chamber, she has continued to pay it forward as a class advisor.

Simply put, Cally is a committed and passionate industry professional.
