Tourism generates economic activity in Georgia, such as:
- Generated $63.2 billion in total economic impact, up 4% over 2016
- Generated $3.2 billion in state and local tax revenue, up 3.1% over 2016
- Drew 107.7 million domestic visitors and 1.4 million international visitors
- Supported 462,000 jobs, making up 10.6% of all non-farm jobs in the state, up 2.7% over 2016
