A new year brings fresh energy, bold plans, and a calendar that reflects the strength and momentum of Gwinnett’s business community. As we step into 2026, one thing is clear: this is a year built for leadership, connection, and impact.
In the days and months ahead, we’ll gather for some of our organization’s most iconic events, starting with our Annual Dinner, welcoming nearly 1,000 leaders from across the region. It will be a powerful evening of celebration and vision as we officially welcome Kim Hartsock as the sixth woman to serve as Chair of the Gwinnett Chamber Board of Directors. The evening will also recognize true public servants — leaders who have given their time, talent, and voice to help champion Gwinnett and advance our community in meaningful ways.
That momentum continues with signature programs, including the Gwinnett State of the County Address on March 6, featuring Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners Chairwoman Nicole Love Hendrickson. We’ll also gather to honor courage and service at the VALOR Public Safety Awards later in March, and to look ahead at opportunity and growth during our Economic Outlook and Chairman’s Club Invitational — where insight meets action and business leaders connect and thrive.
President Calvin Coolidge once said, “The business of the American people is business.” Nearly a century later, that statement still rings true, especially here in Gwinnett. Business is not just what we do; it’s how we build communities, create opportunity, and invest in the future. It’s the engine that drives innovation, growth, and prosperity from local roots to global reach.
This issue of The Executive is focused squarely on that future. Inside, you’ll hear from our Board Chair and read stories of members advancing business across banking, technology, and development. As we begin 2026, I invite you to engage fully — read, connect, attend, and lead alongside us. The year is already moving fast, and the opportunities ahead are significant.
Here’s to a productive start and a business community that continues to lead with purpose. I look forward to seeing you soon as we champion Gwinnett—together.
