The Gwinnett Chamber has once again been recognized among Georgia’s premier business organizations, earning a renewed five-year certification from the Georgia Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (GACCE). The designation was announced during the 2025 GACCE Board Development Conference in Albany, Georgia.
“Earning state-level certification from GACCE is a distinction that reflects the strength, integrity, and commitment of our organization and its people,” said Brad Carr, Chair of the Gwinnett Chamber Board of Directors and Partner at Andersen, Tate & Carr, P.C. “I commend our Board of Directors, Chamber leadership, members, and staff for their tireless efforts to uphold the values that define one of the nation’s leading business communities.”
The Georgia Certified Chamber program was established in 2011 to recognize chambers that have focused internally on their operations to assess strengths, address challenges, and position themselves to deliver exceptional value to their members and communities.
Chambers must meet rigorous standards in organization, service capacity, professional administration, financial management, communications, and advocacy to achieve certification. This process, modeled after the U.S. Chamber’s accreditation program, underscores each organization’s commitment to accountability and performance excellence. With more than 190 chambers of commerce in the state of Georgia, only four were recognized in this year’s class – Eatonton-Putnam, Habersham, Newton and Gwinnett.
“We’re honored to be recognized once again by GACCE alongside our peers across Georgia and appreciate the organization’s leadership in upholding a strong statewide standard of excellence,” said Nick Masino, President & CEO of the Gwinnett Chamber and Partnership Gwinnett. “This certification reinforces our mission to champion business, drive economic prosperity, and create opportunity for companies and professionals throughout Gwinnett, metro Atlanta, and beyond.”
With more than 2,100 member businesses, the Gwinnett Chamber serves as a catalyst for economic development, talent attraction, and business expansion. As a nationally Five-Star Accredited Chamber and the 2023 Chamber of the Year, the organization stands among an elite group of chambers nationwide recognized for operational excellence, innovation, and measurable impact.
