The Gwinnett Chamber held its annual Global Chamber Mixer at the Gas South District, where professionals from across Gwinnett’s thriving international business community gathered for networking, global tastings from Atlanta-based international restaurants, and a special awards ceremony. This year marked the introduction of the Global Mixer Awards, which celebrate individuals and organizations making significant contributions to the global business arena.
The event recognized three inaugural award recipients whose work exemplifies leadership and collaboration in global industry, government partnership, and international trade. Nick Masino, President and CEO of the Gwinnett Chamber and Partnership Gwinnett, said, “The Global Mixer Awards highlight the invaluable contributions of individuals and organizations fostering innovation, diplomacy, and economic growth across borders. Gwinnett’s international business community is stronger because of their efforts, and we are proud to recognize their achievements.” Global Mixer Award Winners:- Global Industry Leader Award: Mark Kuntz, Mitsubishi Electric Trane HVAC, for outstanding innovation and leadership in advancing sustainable HVAC solutions worldwide.
- International Government Partner Award: Mio Maeda, representing The Office of the Consul General of Japan in Atlanta, for strengthening international partnerships and fostering U.S.-Japan relations.
- International Trade Award: Nanolumens, for driving advancements in global commerce and economic growth through innovative LED display technology.
