The Gwinnett Chamber recently launched The NETT, a weekly program for businesses to network, engage, transform, and thrive. Formerly known as Gwinnettworking, The NETT is designed to help professionals build their business acumen, while expanding their connections.

“The NETT provides tangible ideas, tools and resources for helping businesses grow their networks,” said Cally D’Angelo, Vice President of Member Services for the Gwinnett Chamber. “This event is often a member’s first experience with the Chamber. So, it was important for us to make it a space where engagement was possible because of who was in the room and what was being shared or learned in the room as well; we are grateful to all those who came out to help make this launch a true success.”

Last Friday’s event featured keynote speaker Deirdra Cox, President and Founder of Community Sustainability Enterprise (CSE). Cox highlighted the importance of establishing a personal brand for effective relationship building, and shared how professionals can begin creating a brand for themselves. More than 75 business owners and managers were in attendance.

The NETT meets every Friday at 9AM in the Gwinnett Chamber building. This next program will invite businesses to participate in Speed Networking; business cards and elevator pitches are encouraged. For information and to register, please visit GwinnettChamber.org/Events.
