Chairwoman Nicole Love Hendrickson delivered the 2025 Gwinnett State of the County Address presented by Atlas and Axis. The event, held at 12 Stone Church, convened its largest crowd in history with more than 1,000 business and community leaders ready to hear about Gwinnett County’s progress and future direction. Hendrickson outlined the County’s commitment to expanding transit access, strengthening housing initiatives, and fostering business growth.
Chairwoman Hendrickson shared the vision for Gwinnett, “We’re setting a new standard for smart development that encompasses community input so that we can develop within the character of our existing neighborhoods. We can be one even when we’re many. Four districts, each unique yet bound together as one community, with one purpose and toward one future. We are One Gwinnett.”
The Gwinnett Chamber and the Council for Quality Growth have partnered for over 37 years to provide a platform for public-private collaboration, driving economic progress throughout the region.
“Chairwoman Hendrickson’s leadership in infrastructure, service delivery, and mobility reinforces Gwinnett’s position as a key economic driver in metro Atlanta,” said Nick Masino, President & CEO of the Gwinnett Chamber and Partnership Gwinnett. “The County’s focus on long-term planning and investment ensures continued opportunities for businesses and their employees.”
Michael Paris, President & CEO of the Council for Quality Growth, highlighted the role of policy and planning in Gwinnett. “Strategic infrastructure and development initiatives are essential to Gwinnett’s continued success,” said Paris. “This annual address allows us to reflect on progress and align efforts to support the region’s growth.”
