We had a great time celebrating Gardenia Medical Center at their ribbon cutting on December 13th.
Gardenia Medical Care is a hybrid telehealth and in-office concierge medical practice founded by Yasmilka Sarmiento, a bilingual Spanish-speaking Physician Associate (PA). For the past 10 years Sarmiento has given her time and services to remote areas in the United States populated mainly by spanish speaking, uninsured patients. This was mainly done by providing the community with health workshops and screening health fairs. During this time Sarmiento saw the need of these communities to be educated, to have a medical provider who spoke their language and who understood their financial struggles.
Their mission is to educate patients through community-inspired workshops and health screening fairs. Gardenia Medical Care will guide them and provide urgent medical care when needed, but ultimately, they aim to empower individuals with the knowledge they need to make informed decisions and take control of their health. Upon launch, this ground breaking medical practice will provide services to those without insurance, those with high copay insurances, individuals with busy schedules who find it difficult to make in-person appointments, or those who simply feel more comfortable having a medical provider who speaks their language. In addition, there will be a VIP membership option, available upon request, for a more accessible medical experience.
