EXCLUSIVE ITINERARY HIGHLIGHTS
Italy & Switzerland: February 21 – March 4, 2025
- Day 1: Arrival in Milan, Italy
Explore Milan’s historic city center, including the Duomo di Milano and Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II. Highlights include optional stops at Castello Sforzesco, Teatro alla Scala, and Via Montenapoleone, with a delicious Milanese dinner.
- Day 2: Milan, Italy
Start your day with breakfast at the hotel, then visit Leonardo da Vinci’s Last Supper at Santa Maria delle Grazie. Enjoy shopping along Via Montenapoleone and Via della Spiga, followed by an afternoon of leisure.
- Day 3: Lake Como, Italy
Take a scenic train ride from Milan to Lake Como. Enjoy sightseeing in the charming town of Como, including visits to the Como Cathedral and a funicular ride to Brunate. Enjoy leisure time and retire early to your luxury hotel.
- Day 4: Lake Como, Italy
Enjoy a cruise on Lake Como, visiting picturesque towns such as Bellagio, Varenna, and Menaggio. Then, enjoy a light afternoon of sightseeing, shopping, and personal dinner plans.
- Day 5: Travel to Wengen, Switzerland
Travel from Lake Como to Wengen, Switzerland, via Lauterbrunnen and the Wengen cable car. Take a walking tour before riding the cogwheel train to Jungfraujoch, the “Top of Europe,” for stunning views and optional snow activities. Dinner will feature Swiss cuisine, including cheese fondue and raclette.
- Day 6: Wengen, Switzerland
Seize the day and experience all that Wengen, Switzerland, has to offer. Plan a local tour, taste authentic cuisine, and get in all the activities, and shopping you desire in this quaint little, Swiss Alps’ town.
- Day 7: Zermatt, Switzerland
Transfer to Lauterbrunnen and continue to Zermatt. Take the Gornergrat Railway for breathtaking views of the Matterhorn and enjoy lunch at the 3100 Kulmhotel Gornergrat, the highest hotel in the Swiss Alps. Optional visit to the Matterhorn Museum-Zermatlantis is available. - Day 8: Zermatt, Switzerland
Start your day with breakfast at the hotel, followed by a day at leisure with optional activities available. In the evening, taste the flavors of Zermatt at one of its refined, local dining establishments, all offering views of the Matterhorn.
- Day 9: Geneva, Switzerland
Transfer from Taesch to Geneva and embark on a walking tour along Lake Geneva, taking in landmarks such as the Jet d’Eau, the English Garden, and the United Nations. Visit Pierre Cathedral followed by a trip to Maison Tavel to learn about Geneva’s history. Dine at a local restaurant, like Les Armures, featuring a “Menu Terre et Lac.”
- Day 10: Geneva, Switzerland
Take a guided tour of the United Nations Office at the Palais des Nations and enjoy lunch before spending the afternoon at the Museum of Natural History, the International Red Cross, and the Red Crescent Museum. Dine locally at the Domaine de Châteauvieux.
- Day 11: Depart Geneva for Atlanta, Georgia, USA
Rise early for your recommended flight back to the U.S. and Atlanta, Georgia. Shuttle drivers will meet guests at the hotel for the commute to Geneva’s international airport.
