Describe what you do for your company.: I’m the Founder and Executive Director of the Georgia Festival of Trees, and I lead the incredible team that brings this magical event to life each year. I oversee everything from sponsor and partner engagement to programming, operations, and community outreach. My role is to ensure that the festival not only delivers a joyful and meaningful experience for our guests but also supports our mission of raising awareness and funds to combat child exploitation and support survivors. Every detail, from the twinkling lights to the cause we champion, is part of something bigger—and I’m honored to be at the heart of it.
Describe what your company does.: Have you ever dreamed of stepping into a real-life Christmas wonderland? That’s the magic we create at the Georgia Festival of Trees! Imagine hundreds of beautifully decorated trees, twinkling lights, live entertainment, Santa visits, and festive fun around every corner. But beyond the sparkle, there’s heart—every ticket, every tree, every moment helps us raise funds to fight child exploitation and support survivors. We strive to create holiday magic, memories, and traditions. Our fearless team of incredible volunteers work tirelessly to make our community better every single day.
List any of your achievements.: I am the proud mother of two sons and a daughter, and a grandmother of two amazing grandkids. While keeping busy raising my family, I managed to find time for other pursuits. Here are a few:
Founder and Executive Director, Georgia Festival of Trees Launched and currently leads Georgia’s most joyful, mission-driven holiday event.
President, Circle of Sisters – Atlanta Mission Led a philanthropic women’s group supporting the Atlanta Mission’s work to end homelessness. Guided community engagement to help women and children in crisis find hope and stability.
Regional Adoption Coordinator, A Bond of Life Adoptions (Louisiana) Founded and operated a branch office providing adoption services in Mandeville, Louisiana. Worked with expectant mothers, adoptive families, and legal teams to guide and support ethical domestic adoptions.
Chapter President, Project Linus – Northern Utah Led local efforts to provide handmade blankets to children facing illness or trauma, coordinating volunteers and community drives to deliver comfort and care.
Fun fact about yourself.: I graduated from high school at 16 and left home for college out of state. I have always been adventurous and on the go!
