Colleen Japuntich

Describe what you do for your company.: As the President of NEMA, Inc. it is my job to ensure that our company remains in compliance with all of the many regulatory agencies that we deal with (DOT, CBP, etc.). I am also responsible for ensuring profitability and growth in our company.  I am a very hands-on leader and am always there to lend a helping hand to any department except truck and forklift driving. I leave that to the professionals!  Every day is different and I never know what it will bring, but I am always ready and up for any challenge that comes my way.

Describe what your company does.: NEMA provides comprehensive logistics services to a growing list of top-tier global customers.  We offer a variety of services including trucking, warehousing (domestic and Foreign Trade Zone), ocean importing and exporting, wood package manufacturing, and more.   Everything that NEMA does involves a high level of service and customer focus and we have built our business organically over the years by listening and addressing the needs of our customers.

List any of your achievements.: NEMA has grown from a small company of 3 employees in 1988 to over 70 employees today.   We have grown our fleet size and our services to meet the needs of our customers and the main industry that we have served for 35 years.

Fun fact about yourself.: I love music and played the Xylophone/Percussion in high school and college!
