Chambers Forge Strategic Partnership during Inaugural EMBARK Trip to UAE and India

Gwinnett County (METRO ATLANTA) GA Mar. 13 The Gwinnett Chamber recently signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Southern Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry while on its inaugural EMBARK trip to UAE and India. The MOU acknowledged both organizations’ intent to strengthen economic development relations, identify global trade opportunities, and support small business initiatives in energy efficiency. The ceremony was held on the last day of the Gwinnett Chamber’s first-ever EMBARK trip, an experiential travel program designed to foster cultural enrichment and relationship-building among executives and their peers.

“The EMBARK program is primarily centered around providing our members with unique and exciting travel opportunities around the world,” said Nick Masino, President and CEO of the Gwinnett Chamber. “Advancing our global business connections with the Southern Gujarat Chamber while on this trip served to enhance the experience and support our mission to champion business. We are grateful for their hospitality and look forward to working with them in the future.”

The 2023 EMBARK trip took a dozen Gwinnett Chamber chairman’s club members to the cities of Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Delhi, and Agra affording excursions and tours of key landmarks in each of these locations. From Dubai’s Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest tower, to the Lotus Temple and the Taj Mahal, EMBARK delegates enjoyed diverse cultures, innovative designs, and historic landmarks over a 9-day period.

The Gwinnett Chamber is planning its second EMBARK trip for Chairman’s Club members and will soon announce its 2024 destination. For information on this program or to learn more about the Gwinnett Chamber chairman’s club, please visit GwinnettChamber.org/ChairmansClub.
