Gwinnett Chamber Small Business Series continued its focus on resource opportunities with an overview of the Employee Retention Tax Credit (ERTC). Designed to encourage businesses to retain employees during the COVID pandemic, the ERTC has evolved and expanded to give more relief to more employers.
Gwinnett Resource Partners comprising leaders from the Gwinnett Chamber, UGA Small Business Development Center, Gwinnett County, ACE Women’s Business Center, and SCORE led the September online seminar with more than one hundred small business participants tuned in to learn the latest. The online seminar covered everything from retroactive claims and time periods for application to eligibility requirements, calculating the potential credit, and recommendations for consultation. The online seminar also covered supply chain disruption claims that would impact a business’s qualifications for the ERTC. The webinar was recorded and can be viewed on the Gwinnett Chamber’s YouTube channel. To download a copy of the presentation, click here.
