What inspired you to begin your business?
Favor Hospice Care is a home hospice provider that promises to keep you comfortable at home. We provide hospice care for patients with terminal diagnosis or life limiting illnesses. They called us and asked us to speak with the family, and that meeting went great the family loved our services and we are eternally grateful, to that office and the family for giving us the chance to care for them. We have since worked with that Doctor’s office for the past 4 years.
Where did you begin your business? In your basement, at your home? How has that changed from your location today?
Favor Hospice Care was started in Buford, GA in 2017. We are still in our original office and honestly, love our location and community and plan to stay here in Buford/Sugar-Hill for as long as our business provides care in Gwinnett County primarily. We support 10 counties in the Metro Atlanta area and would love to care for your loved ones where ever they call home…
What piece of advice would you tell your self when you started out? Any success tips you want to share?
This is a great question! Favor Hospice Care has two owners, Lavell Hewitt Jr. and Kunbi Adedipe, both comprise 20 plus years of hospice and healthcare experience. If we could advise our “Start-Up” selves, we would probably say don’t be afraid to trust each others vision, and treat any failure as a learning opportunity to lift your partner up and share all of the success. In this industry patient care is the only thing that matters, and having a loving staff/team is the only way to accomplish that together.
What are you most proud of?
Favor Hospice Care is most proud of being able to say in the 5 years we’ve been in business, we have cared for and supported over 115 families/patients. Our greatest accomplishment is to help families manage care at home, with dignity and compassion.

Our company motto is “Care and Comfort is our Promise” and we truly live by those words.
