The three-day program covered informative sessions on transportation, the Austin Independent School District, mall redevelopment, affordable housing, and city policy on urban camping. Attendees also experienced travel on the city’s light rail system and a tour of Austin Community College, a former shopping mall redeveloped through a public-private partnership.
