Gwinnett Chamber recently held its annual Fall Classic Golf Tournament at Bear’s Best in Suwanee, Georgia. A sold-out event, the tournament hosted 144 golfers on this beautiful course featuring eighteen replica holes from the Bear’s, aka Jack Nicklaus, 200-plus course designs worldwide. The competition was intense, but friendly, and afforded opportunity for Chamber members to network in a casual, outdoor environment.

Teams of four competed for first, second, and third place and received awards from the tournament’s numerous sponsors. First place went to Aviation Institute of Maintenance (Mike Cavill, Trevor McCawley, Ben Sitton, and Brian Terry). Colony Bank came in at second place (Jeff Cox, Brian King, Chris Leon, and Joshua Osborne). And in third place was Oconee State Bank (Jason Brooks, Joe Godfrey, Rhett Godfrey, and Dennis Youngblood).

The Gwinnett Chamber congratulates these winners and thanks the sponsors of the 2022 golf tournament: Capital City Home Loans, Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, City of Peachtree Corners, Dave & Busters, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Eagle Rock Distributing Co., Georgia Power, Marlow’s Tavern, Northside Hospital, Pepsi Co., PGA Superstore, Reeves + Young, Sams Club, McCarthy, Outlook Gwinnett, Anderson Tate & Carr, Capital City Bank, Georgia Gwinnett College, Hogan, Precision Planning, Inc., Walton Gas, Mitsubishi Electric Classic, E2E Resources, Garrard Construction, Level Seven Facilities Services, Margaritaville at Lanier Islands, ServPro, and SMG.

The Chamber’s next outdoor networking opportunity is the annual Sporting Clays Tournament on Nov. 16. To register for this event and view upcoming events, go to GwinnettChamber.org/Events.
