Leader of Largest Suburban Atlanta Community Reflects on Successes, Outlines Future Vision

Gwinnett County, GA – March 3, 2022 – The Gwinnett Chamber and Council for Quality Growth hosted Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners Chairwoman Nicole Love Hendrickson this morning for the annual State of the County Address (SOC), presented by Axis Companies and HNTB. The program, held at 12Stone Church in Lawrenceville, brought together business and community leaders to celebrate collective successes while learning the vision for Gwinnett’s future.

“Each of us has a unique perspective — a special lens through which we view the world,” said Chairwoman Nicole Hendrickson. “In Gwinnett, our kaleidoscope is the lens through which we view progress… we see a future where services are high-quality, efficient, and affordable; where development is equitable, and where safe and comfortable places to live, work, and play are accessible to all.”

The Gwinnett Chamber and Council for Quality Growth have cohosted this event for over 35 years, connecting business and community to spur progress for the Greater Gwinnett region.

“The Chamber champions business and cultivates the relationship between business and government to preserve its best-in-class economic climate,” shared Nick Masino, President & CEO of the Gwinnett Chamber. “We are grateful to Chairwoman Hendrickson for her leadership and vision that continues to set us apart and drive us forward.”

Michael Paris, President & CEO of the Council for Quality Growth added, “The strong relationship that Gwinnett government and the business community have with one another supports quality development evidenced in the great update shared here today; we are proud to partner on this event every year.”

The Gwinnett Chamber will continue fostering business-government relations this month with its next On Topic Luncheon featuring Griff Lynch, Executive Director of the Georgia Ports Authority. To learn more and register to attend, visit www.gwinnettchamber.org/events.
