Holiday event combines good times with good will, Celebrates next generation leadership

Gwinnett County, GA – December 15, 2021 – Gwinnett Young Professionals (GYP) recently hosted its 3rd annual Holiday Happy Hour bringing more than 100 young professionals together for networking and holiday fun. GYP combined its event with a charitable giving component, raising more than $4,000 for local non-profit Rainbow Village, an organization dedicated to addressing homelessness in Gwinnett.

“Gwinnett’s young professionals are truly passionate about giving back,” said Chase Meeder, Senior Program Manager, Gwinnett Young Professionals. “We were honored to support such a worthy organization and humbled by the overwhelming response of our GYP community who made this donation to Rainbow Village possible.”

This year’s campaign launched on November 1 and culminated with the presentation of a check to Rainbow Village at the GYP Holiday Mixer on December 9. GYP will be announcing its 2022 program calendar before the end of this year to include date and time of next year’s holiday mixer as its advisory board convenes to select next year’s charitable-giving recipient.
