How Chairman’s Club Members Get Exclusive Access

Gwinnett Chamber leaders are always looking for ways to add value for members, so when the time came to renovate the Chamber facility, members’ needs played a key factor. “We wanted to create a space that could foster meaningful connections and help members be more efficient,” explains Megan Lesko, the Chamber’s vice president of membership.

The result? Chairman’s Club (CC) members now have access to two exclusive spaces in the Chamber building — conveniently located in the Gas South District — where you can stop in to catch up on emails, make calls, collaborate with other members, or continue working between appointments.

New Productivity-Driving Spaces

The first space is a large community room where you can use booths, tables, outlets and even monitors for your laptop. The room features Wi-Fi, state-of-the-art audio-visual equipment, contemporary furniture, and modern lighting fixtures, all designed to boost productivity and collaboration. The community room also features a cafe with complimentary drinks like coffee, tea, soft drinks, and water along with light snacks for a quick pick-me-up.

CC members also have access to a spacious, outdoor patio that offers covered seating in an inviting atmosphere with lush landscaping and a fire pit. The new patio is ideal for a mental refresh, networking, or catching up on emails. CC Members can even bring their lunch and enjoy it on the patio.

“These new spaces give members the chance to be more efficient with their time,” explains Lesko. “Instead of driving all the way back to their office between meetings, they can drop-in to one of these spaces and conduct business before that next engagement. ”

Gwinnett Chamber board member Kamden Robb, who leads sales channels and strategic partnerships for Gas South, already uses the space and highly recommends them. “I travel a lot for work and often have time before or after a meeting. Instead of catching up on emails or calls from my car or a local coffee shop, I’ve started using the space at the Chamber, and it’s so helpful.”

Kamden appreciates the quiet areas that are conducive to focused work as well as the open areas designed for collaboration. “Since COVID, we’ve lost a lot of opportunities for casual workday interactions,” he says. “This new space at the Chamber gives us a place where you can have those impromptu conversations with other people who are doing business in Gwinnett.”

He also appreciates the opportunity to check in with Chamber staff and learn more about upcoming events or programs. “This is a great value add for me as a Chairman’s Club member,” he says. “It gives me an additional touchpoint with my peers and makes it easy to stay plugged in with the Chamber.”

He notes that the new digs aren’t designed for coworking, but are helpful for those in-between times when you want to be productive and comfortable. As for his favorite snack? Kamden recommends the Nerd Clusters for a burst of energy.

Exclusive Access — Who, When and How

These new productivity-driving spaces are open to designated Chairman’s Club representatives along with Gwinnett Chamber board members, Partnership Gwinnett investors, Gwinnett Chamber Foundation board members, Gwinnett Young Professional board members, and bilateral partners during normal business hours. Reservations are not needed, but all guests must check in at the front desk to confirm their credentials before enjoying the space.

“We want to be the place that our Chairman’s Club members and other qualifying partners think of when you want to connect with a peer,” says Lesko. “The next time you have an hour or so free, come check it out and say hi to us. It brightens our day to see members enjoying the space.”
