The Gwinnett Chamber is hiring a Part-Time Marketing Coordinator — an ideal role for someone eager to dive into content strategy, project management, and digital campaigns. You’ll work alongside a high-performing marketing team supporting key initiatives that shape our region’s business community.
This position reports to the Senior Vice President of Marketing & Communications for the Gwinnett Chamber.
What You’ll Do:
You’ll be an essential part of the marketing team—keeping projects on track, supporting high-visibility content, and getting hands-on experience in digital platforms.
Stay on Track
- Manage project workflow using Asana, helping the marketing team prioritize and complete projects efficiently
- Coordinate deadlines and support content organization across campaigns and channels
Support Key Marketing Initiatives
- Assist with production logistics for the Gwinnett Chamber Podcast—from scheduling guests to keeping release timelines on track
- Help organize and distribute content for The Executive, our quarterly digital magazine
- Provide occasional support at events to capture high-quality images for social media use
Back Up the Digital Beat
- Support social media scheduling across platforms using tools like Loomly
- Assist with email marketing scheduling through Constant Contact
- Ensure brand consistency and attention to detail across content
What We’re Looking For:
We’re looking for someone who’s proactive, organized, and eager to learn. If you love bringing order to creative chaos and thrive on teamwork, you’ll fit right in.
- High school diploma or GED required; certification or degree in Marketing, Communications, or Digital Media is a plus
- Extreme attention to detail and solid written and verbal communication skills
- Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset and positive energy
- Strong time management and ability to juggle multiple deadlines
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
- Familiarity with Asana, Monday, or similar project management software as well as social platforms like Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, X, YouTube, and Google Ads
- Basic understanding of general marketing concepts and campaign strategies
The Perks:
This part-time position is hourly and offers flexible weekday scheduling. Pay ranges from $17-$20/hour depending on experience and qualifications.
Preferred Schedule:
- 9am – 4pm, Mon-Thu, 1-hour lunch
- 9am – 3pm, Mon-Thu, 1-hour lunch
