The Gwinnett Chamber Chairman’s Club has a fresh, new look. The organization unveiled its new logo at the October 2021 Gwinnett Chamber Board Meeting where members voted for the one now gracing the website at www.gwinnettchamber.org/chairmansclub.

The Chamber Chairman’s Club (CC) has certainly always been known for its qualitative networking opportunities and unique executive-level business connections. For years, it has fostered leadership, growth and development among Gwinnett’s business community and even crossed lines to ensure relationships between public and private sectors maintained a cooperative and unified approach to the future. So, a rebranding of this membership level – a modernized logo – seemed appropriate for such a pinnacle program to our day-to-day economic vitality. However, there is more to this new look than meets the eye. In fact, there is a lot more. In 2021, total memberships to this illustrious group of high-powered executives increased by 77%, the largest annual increase in well over a decade. That is a dramatic shift in one short year, but explainable when you look at some key, intentional decisions made by Chamber leadership over the last 18 months.

In 2020, the Chamber developed a comprehensive plan that focused the organization on one goal, to champion business. From there, the organization was restructured and refocused to not only sell and provide basic service for its high-level members, but it was challenged to find intentional and customized ways of delivering value. Under the leadership of Megan Lesko and Cally D’Angelo, this service-oriented approach to member recruitment allowed for a fulltime concierge role to be created for the Chairman’s Club level – enter staff lead for CC, Avery Jarrard. Sales professionals were also encouraged to onboard and customize services based on the needs of those members who chose to invest in this top-tier level of the organization. And presently, our teams consistently collaborate with our members to make tangible connections and introductions at events, through email, in one-on-one meetings or over the phone to ensure business development is happening and Gwinnett’s leadership network remains strong. Innovative programs, like the 2023 EMBARK trip to culturally enriching destinations around the world, are being created exclusively for Chairman’s Club members and harness the strength of the Chamber’s global connections to provide experiential business growth opportunities together with world-renowned cultural enrichment. In 2022, the Chamber is increasing the frequency of its exclusive receptions to be bi-monthly – including one in the 18th Green Skybox during the Mitsubishi Electric Classic. It is also bringing back the popular Meat & Mingle event launched just last fall, and hosting its Merry Mixer Holiday Reception at TPC Sugarloaf in December. In addition, smaller touches like complementary tickets to After Hours foster and encourage a natural leadership opportunity to invite partners and friends to our popular networking functions. From the A-List initiative to the monthly and quarterly opportunities for connection, the Chairman’s Club is delivering on the Chamber’s promise to champion business.
